WE AREN'T.... "ZEN" (but we like it that way)
Double Dose Sports Recovery is designed for up to 10 people. You won't find us playing classical music or offering a warm towel and hot tea after your session. In truth, we play combat sports and music on the TV, you can watch people do fight training and crossfit outside the window, and between 3 & 7pm, it can get noisy.
The place isn't awkward, our customers using the centre are kids, mums & dads, athletes, business professionals and tradies. Most importantly, you will feel welcome. Whether you like a chat or prefer to keep to yourself, you won't ever feel like you are in a sardine can with a bunch of strangers.
The centre was developed as part of our martial arts gym, because as fighters we know all too well how much it sucks to be in the hurt locker after a hard week of training. We've kept the concept simple, the equipment is top quality and we don't take ourselves too seriously. Kids are even welcome if you can't find a place to drop the ratbags off 🤪

CONTRAST WATER THERAPY
Contrast water therapy, also known as hydrotherapy, involves alternating between hot and cold water treatments to stimulate circulation and promote healing. This therapy works by causing blood vessels to constrict and dilate, which helps to improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and alleviate muscle soreness. The hot water relaxes muscles and soothes tension, while the cold water reduces swelling and numbs sore areas. Alternating between hot and cold temperatures also boosts the immune system and can aid in detoxification. Overall, contrast water therapy is beneficial for relieving pain, improving recovery from injuries, and enhancing overall well-being.
NORMATEC
COMPRESSION THERAPY
Compression therapy helps to increase blood flow and lymphatic drainage, reducing swelling and speeding up the removal of metabolic waste products from the muscles.
Normatec 3 is the next evolution of the iconic Normatec series, using dynamic air compression to advance your wellness, recover faster, improve your training, and maximize your performance. Normatec’s patented precision pulse technology helps to increase circulation, revive muscles, and reduce swelling and has long been the choice of elite athletes and consumers throughout the globe.
STEAM SAUNA
Regular sauna use is known to host a range of benefits, including detoxification, increased metabolism, weight loss, increased blood circulation, pain reduction, anti-aging, skin rejuvenation, improved cardiovascular function, improved immune function, improved sleep, stress management, and relaxation.
Additionally, regular sessions in an infrared sauna have been associated with boosted immune function, and reduced stress levels. Overall, the therapeutic effects of infrared sauna make it a popular choice for individuals seeking both physical and mental wellness benefits..
